His name is Ronald Tammen. His legacy is some tasteless ghost stories on the campus of Miami University at Oxford, Ohio.

     Personally private yet paradoxically outgoing and involved. Ron Tammen is the image of a young D.B. Cooper. He was 5 foot 10 inches tall, sleek, wiry and athletic frame. He was 175 pounds. His complexion was dark (olive) and ruddy. His hair was dark brown. His eyes were brown. He was fascinated by aircraft.

     He disappeared on the night of April 19, 1953, from his dorm at the university. He was only 19 years old. He left all his I.D. behind. He left only with the clothes on his back and an unspecified amount of money in his pockets. No trace or lead on him was ever found.
