Every night was Halloween for him. Every heinous act he did was both trick and treat to him. He ransacked, raped, terrorized, stalked, and eventually murdered. He was voyeur, sadist, predator, night stalker. In substance he is the truth behind such fictional villains as Michael Myers. He was only in his late teens and early 20s, and he terrorized normal, middle class American neighborhoods. Yet he outwitted every police jurisdiction for 10 years. He then disappeared. Officially, he is the greatest serial villain in California’s history. Very few, however, have even heard of him, and even fewer still hound his trail.
